Crud, I had so much more stuff I was hoping to get done, and here we are, last two days of the school year. Of course, my smartie pants finished her academic work up a few weeks early, so I’ve been “inventing” work these past few weeks. (When we weren’t on vacation.)
She’s got a few pen pals now, she’s working through her 4th grade math book, and I believe she plans to finish that by the end of summer. Not that I’m gonna even try to stop her. Continue reading
Things have been moving along. We’ve gotten back the results of two of the lotteries we’re in. She’s in 82nd place for one and 32nd for the other. With class sizes averaging about 18-25 I’m not really hopeful about either of those options. However, we’ll still hang out on the list. Continue reading
We have fallen in love with the Waldorf School near us. GM is currently on her three day visit of the school. (Today is day 2.) and she’s thriving there. Her little sister took an informal tour today and also really seemed to feel at home.
Today is the first day since I began this exhaustive search where I’m feeling like I may have found a solution that will work for all of us.
